The Chaplet of The Divine Mercy
for the Holy Church


(This prayer is said using ordinary rosary beads. This is an alternate form of the prayer.)
First, make the Sign of the Cross.

Then say one Our Father, one Hail Mary and the I believe in God (the Apostle's Creed).

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity,
of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of Jesus Christ's sorrowful Passion and death on the Cross
have mercy on the Pope
and on the whole world.

For the sake of Jesus Christ's sorrowful Passion and death on the Cross
have mercy on the Cardinals and Bishops
and on the whole world.

For the sake of Jesus Christ's sorrowful Passion and death on the Cross
have mercy on priests and missionaries
and on the whole world.

For the sake of Jesus Christ's sorrowful Passion and death on the Cross
have mercy on deacons and seminarians
and on the whole world.

For the sake of Jesus Christ's sorrowful Passion and death on the Cross
have mercy on religious and postulants
and on the whole world.

For the sake of Jesus Christ's sorrowful Passion and death on the Cross
have mercy on lay men and women
and on the whole world.

For the sake of Jesus Christ's sorrowful Passion and death on the Cross
have mercy on teenagers and children
and on the whole world.

For the sake of Jesus Christ's sorrowful Passion and death on the Cross
have mercy on infants and prenatals
and on the whole world.

For the sake of Jesus Christ's sorrowful Passion and death on the Cross
have mercy on sinners in need of repentance
and on the whole world.

For the sake of Jesus Christ's sorrowful Passion and death on the Cross
have mercy on dying and deceased souls
and on the whole world.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus
as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in you.

[Repeat the above prayers five times, then say the following prayer three times:]

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
