FutureMap 3
the future from the late 24th century until the Antichrist's reign
In the late 24th century (the late 2300's)
- The world has been divided into ten kingdoms, ruled by ten leaders only, for several generations now.
- The kingdom of the North and the kingdom of the South have been at war, off and on, for generations, so they have the strongest, most experienced, and most technologically advanced militaries in the world.
- Christianity is prohibited, or at least persecuted and ridiculed, in all of the kingdoms except one. In the kingdom of the South (which includes Israel), Christianity still has some governmental protections. But the kingdom is still very sinful. And Christians are ridiculed by society at large.
- Late in the 24th century, the Antichrist will be born.
- His father will be a Catholic Bishop. His mother will be a nun of Hebrew descent, a false virgin. He is born and raised in the area formerly known as Assyria.
In 2410's and 2420's
- The Antichrist has moved to the kingdom of the North. He hides his origins, because those two kingdoms have been at war, off and on, for generations.
- In the 2410's and 2420's, the Antichrist rises to power in the kingdom of the North.
- "And there will stand up in his place one who is most worthless and unworthy of kingly honor. And in a short time, he will be worn out, but not in fury, nor in battle. And there will stand up in his place the despicable one, and he will not be assigned the honor of a king. And he will arrive in secret, and he will obtain the kingdom by deceitfulness. And the arms of the fighting will be assaulted before his face and will be shattered, and, in addition, the leader of the federation." (Daniel 11:20-22)
- This passage from Daniel details the Antichrist's rise to power. The Antichrist is the despicable one, who takes the place of a worthless king before him (who apparently dies of natural causes). But the Antichrist at this time has little power. Another passage from Daniel calls him a little horn; horns represent positions of leadership, but the Antichrist at first holds a position with little power. The kingdom of the North has a complex political structure where the support of many leaders is needed by the 'king' of that kingdom. At that time, the kingdom of the North is not ruled by an absolute ruler. But then the Antichrist fights within the kingdom to increase his power. He defeats the soldiers and weapons who fight against him and the leader of the federation (another leader within the kingdom who opposes the Antichrist). Then the Antichrist consolidates his power to become the single most powerful leader of the entire kingdom of the North.
In the late 2420's
- Now the Antichrist has dictatorial power over the kingdom of the North. He is one of the ten kings of the world. He hates religion, especially Christianity, but he seeks power and self-exaltation first and foremost. He considers himself to be a god, but he cannot say so openly, for he does not yet have enough power.
- He considers a way to gain more power. He knows that the North and South have been at war for generations. He knows that they have the two most powerful militaries in the world. And, since they have been at war, off and on, for generations, it would be easy to obtain support in the North for a war with the South. He also sees the South, the kingdom with the most Christians, Jews, and Muslims, as his natural enemy. He hates this kingdom for its tolerance of religion. He particularly hates this kingdom of the South because its current leader is a Christian (though he is sinful, not holy).
- He plans to go to war against the South, and to win, not with battles, but by betrayals and treachery. Thus he will preserve the main part of both militaries, virtually doubling his military power in a very short time.
- He has the help of fallen angels, so as to know which officials in the South have secret sins that allow them to be easily influenced. And he has the help of fallen angels in influencing these sinful leaders to betray the Christian king of the South.
In the year 2430 A.D.
- The Antichrist begins his war against the Christian king of the South. The war is brief and there are few battles. The Antichrist wins through extensive betrayals by many persons in leadership in the South, in both government and military. He then kills the king of the South and executes many soldiers. He purges the military of the South of any known Christians and known loyalists.
- Now the Antichrist controls the two most powerful militaries in the world and he has doubled his power in only a year.
- The kings of the other eight kingdoms are anxious that the careful balance of power that had prevailed for a number of generations will now be upset.
- About this time, there is a great flood, caused by the earth being altered in its spin, so that it begins to wobble more so than ever before. Whole oceans shift their positions. Whole nations are innudated, including Ireland.
In the years 2430/2431 A.D.
- "And the heart of two kings will be similar, to do harm, and they will speak lies at one table, but they will not succeed, because as yet the end is for another time." (Daniel 11:27).
- These two kings are the king of Africa (excluding the northern part) and the king of the East (including China). These areas of the world together were formerly the dominent superpower in the 23rd century (the 2200's). They still have considerable military resources; these two kingdoms are the next two most powerful after the North and South.
- But they know that they probably cannot win an all-out war against the North and South united, so they attempt to defeat the Antichrist by joining together in deceitful negotiations. They fail, for the Antichrist is much more adept at deceit and betrayal than they are. Again, he has the help of fallen angels.
- The Antichrist defeats these two kings, by instigating their betrayal by their own people. He then takes control of the kingdom of Africa and the kingdom of the East. Now he controls the four most powerful militaries in the world.
- The other six leaders of the world know that they cannot defeat the Antichrist, even with their six militaries against his four. So they agree to whatever he asks. He asks for absolute power and for an end to religion. He asks for a position for himself like that of a god.
- Now the ten kingships of the world (ten horns) are ruled by only seven leaders (seven heads of state): the Antichrist and the six leaders of the remaining six kingdoms. This is the beast with seven heads and ten horns described by Scripture.
- The Antichrist begins his reign over nearly the whole world in the year 2431 A.D.
