What is the Warning?
The Warning is an event foretold by the Virgin Mary to the visionaries of Garabandal, Spain. On the day of the Warning, for a brief period of time, God will touch each and every human soul on earth. In most cases, this experience will reveal to each person the sins still on their conscience (not all the sins of their life) and will offer to them the gift of repentance from those sins. Many will respond by repenting, but a substantial number will respond by rejecting this gift of repentance.
Previously, I thought that the Warning would occur on Good Friday, April 10th, 2009. Now I believe that the Warning will occur on Good Friday, April 2nd, 2010.
For those few persons who are holy and have few unrepented sins, this experience will allow them to participate in the sufferings of Christ for the sins of the world. For those who are too young to have committed any significant sins, from young children to infants to prenatals in the womb, this experience will strengthen them against sin.
What effect will the Warning have on politics in the Middle East?
In the Arab/Muslim nations of the Middle East and northern Africa, many persons will reject this gift of repentance offered by God; among these will be many who had been acting with extreme violence against their fellow human beings. These extremists will realize that many of their fellow citizens have repented in response to the Warning, and the extremists will be afraid that they will lose all political and religious power.
Soon, they will make a desperate grab for power. There will be insurrections, coups, and outright war among the Arab/Muslim nations of the Middle East and northern Africa. If the extremists cannot obtain control of a nation by internal coup or insurrection, then the nations that they do control will immediately go to war with the nations still run by moderates, in that region of the world.
This upheaval will result in extremist leaders quickly taking control of all the Arab/Muslim nations of the Middle East and northern Africa, with the leader of Iran and the leader of Iraq having the most power. These two leaders will in effect be the leaders of this group of nations. All this begins and ends in the year 2010, shortly after the Warning, in reaction to the Warning. This upheaval prepares the way for World War Three to begin sometime in mid to late 2010.
What effect will the Warning have on U.S. politics?
The same effects of the Warning that apply to the population in general also apply to politicians. Some will accept the gift of repentance, but others will refuse the gift of repentance.
Those who repent will become closer to God, and will try to reform their lives and their political positions to be more pleasing to God. A substantial number of politicians throughout the nation will reform their political positions as a result of the Warning. Politics in the U.S. (and in other nations) will change suddenly and substantially, due partly to the repentance of many politicians and partly to the repentance of many voters.
A few of those politicians who repent will be so sorrowful at the many sins in their political career, and in their personal life, that they will promptly resign from office. Some will realize that God's will for them lies in a field other than politics.
Some of those who repent will eventually backslide into the same sins as before, or worse. The desire for political power and the choice of political expediency over morality will cause some of the repentant politicians to fall back into their old sinful ways.
Those politicians who do not repent at the Warning will become more sinful. They will realize that many citizens and many fellow politicians have repented, though they themselves did not. Some will lose power as a result of their failure to repent. The repentant politicians generally will not help the unrepentant politicians to stay in office. The repentant citizens will change the way that they vote. They will no longer vote for politicians who are pro-abortion, or who are known to have committed grave sins, such as adultery or homosexuality. Some of these unrepentant politicians will quickly lose power.
However, others among the unrepentant politicians, after seeing how many persons around them have repented, will feign repentance. They will proclaim their fake repentance as a way to attempt to retain political power. They will change their political positions on issues of family values to be in agreement with the repentant majority, but only to stay in power; secretly they will continue to despise the positions that they now adopt and proclaim.
Those voters who are repentant will no longer vote for pro-abortion politicians. They will not vote for politicians whose views are contrary to good morals and family values. But those voters who are unrepentant will suddenly have much less political power. Many of their favorite politicians will soon be gone from office. They will be desperate to elect politicians who will protect their sins.
Political advisors will no longer be able to offer useful insights based on past political elections and circumstances. Everything in politics will be suddenly and substantially changed. The old conventional political wisdom will no longer apply.
Some politicians will be so shocked at seeing the many sins on their consciences that the shock (perhaps combined with old age or poor health) will cause their deaths. The number of politicians who all die on that one day, in the U.S. and in many other countries worldwide, will be a small percentage, but a remarkable number.
The same effects of the Warning will also apply to judges within the judicial system at every level in the United States (and in other nations). Some judges will repent from their sins, and others will not. Those who repent will become better judges; those who do not repent will become worse judges, because good and reasonable human laws are inherently based on the moral law. Some judges will die of shock at seeing their sins, especially those who are also affected by old age or poor health.
All of the above factors will suddenly and substantially change politics in every nation worldwide with long-lasting effects.
Who will the U.S. President be after the Warning?
The Warning will certainly show all those who have the sin of abortion on their consciences that abortion is gravely immoral. Many persons throughout the United States (and of course throughout the world) will turn away from abortion, and the U.S. will become mainly pro-life. But not every person will accept this gift of repentance offered by God, and so some persons will still cling to the sin of abortion.
God is merciful to everyone, and so I am certain that His will is not only to save His unborn children from abortion, but also to make the nation pro-life, and even to offer conversion and repentance to those who have most strongly supported abortion.
I think that the most fitting politician to reach out to strong supporters of abortion, making it easier for them to become pro-life, would be a woman politician, a liberal democrat, especially if she were the first female U.S. President, and someone who changes her mind to become pro-life in response to the Warning. In a previous article, I concluded that this person would be Hillary Clinton. She still seems to be the most fitting politician to reach out to strong supporters of abortion to attempt to bring them to the pro-life position. But I am now uncertain whether or not she will be the U.S. President shortly after the Warning (or at any time). My previous prediction that she would win the election in November 2008 was incorrect.
I do not think that Nancy Pelosi would be effective at reaching out to strong supporters of abortion to change their minds. As a Catholic, she does not appeal to the strongest pro-abortion supporters, who tend to be liberal Protestants, if they are religious at all. She also lacks the nationwide appeal among liberal democrats that Hillary Clinton has established by a long campaign for the office of President.
I am not certain if any specific set of events will bring Hillary Clinton to office. Previously, I suggested this scenario, now that she is the U.S. Secretary of State, that the politicians who are ahead of her in the line of succession might all either resign or die as a result of the Warning (this would be President Barack Obama, Vice-President Joe Biden, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and President pro tempore of the Senate Robert Byrd). Now I am uncertain on this point.
This would be an extremely unusual and entirely unprecedented set of events, but then so is the Warning. Certainly, the Warning will have a very profound effect on the entire world, causing great changes in politics and government, at every level and in every nation. And not only political life, but also religious life and family life and commerce will be very substantially and thoroughly affected. The number of persons who make a sudden change, for better or for worse, to their hearts and to their lives as a result of the Warning will be very great. The number of persons who die of shock at the Warning will be a small percentage, but a relatively large number. And the overall effect of these changes will be tremendous; even after the event, the long-term effects of these changes will be inestimable.
The Warning will have a very profound effect throughout the human race and throughout every aspect of society and life. Therefore, it is entirely possible that U.S. politics would be so suddenly changed that the four top leaders in the nations would all either resign or die.
What is the Day of Consolation?
Formerly, I thought that the Day of Consolation would occur on Easter Sunday of 2009. Now I believe that the correct date is Easter Sunday of 2010. On Easter Sunday, April 4th of 2010, God will give an additional gift to all those who accepted the gift of repentance on the Day of the Warning (two days earlier). God will console all these persons, who are sorrowing over their own sins, by showing them the good in their lives and the good in God's creation, especially in their fellow human beings. But those who did not repent will not receive this gift.
What is the Miracle (the Day of Healing)?
I believe that this date for the Miracle remains correct. On Ascension Thursday, May 13th of 2010, God will give a gift to very many persons throughout the world: the gift of healing (from injury or illness of any kind, from minor to severe). Not all sick or injured persons will be healed, but the number and extent of these healings will be so great as to affect every nation, city, town, village, and neighborhood on earth. Tens of millions of persons worldwide will be miraculously and suddenly healed, wherever they are. Also, Permanent Miraculous Signs will be placed at the places of true revelations of the Virgin Mary throughout the world. Also, very many unbelievers will be converted throughout the world.
Why do these three events occur?
God will grant these three events, the Warning, the Consolation, and the Miracle, to the world in order to strengthen the people of the world in preparation for the first part of the tribulation. The first part of the tribulation is for this generation. The second part of the tribulation occurs a few hundred years later.
