Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow
(With four new verses added by Daniel Maley)
“The praise of Him is above heaven and earth…”
(Psalm 148:14 Douay)

Verse 1

Praise God from whom all bless-ings flow;
Praise Him all crea-tures here be-low;
Praise Him a-bove ye heav’n-ly host;
Praise Fa-ther, Son and Ho-ly Ghost.

Verse 2

From all that dwell be-low the skies;
Let the Cre-a-tor’s praise a-rise!
Let the Re-deem-er’s name be sung;
Through ev-‘ry land by ev-‘ry tongue.

Verse 3

E-ter-nal are Thy mer-cies Lord;
And Truth E-ter-nal is Thy Word;
Thy praise shall sound from shore to shore;
Till suns shall rise and set no more.

Verse 4

The praise of Him 's a-bove the skies;
I-ni-tial praise dawns soul’s sun-rise!
Then praise of Him for-e-ver more;
Sings stars in sky and sands on shore.

Verse 5

Our earth-ly praise with heav'n-ly blends;
In li-tur-gy all praise a-scends!
Christ's sa-cri-fice this u-ni-ty;
Bless'd Tri-ni-ty and fa-mi-ly.

Verse 6

Praise is the place where earth meets sky;
Song's low-ly tones re-sound on high!
Earth and skies to-ge-ther in Him;
One Pre-sence, u-ni-ver-sal realm.

Verse 7

Ad-vance through us Your earth-ly roam;
In flesh and blood Your pre-sence known;
Then grant Thy ho-ly will en-dure;
Our grate-ful praise for-e-ver more.

Verse 8

Praise God from whom all bles-sings flow;
Praise Him all crea-tures here be-low;
Praise Him a-bove ye heav'n-ly host;
Praise Fa-ther, Son and Ho-ly Ghost.
