Germen Nominatum
Ez. 34:29   Vulgate

"And I will raise up for them a bud of renown:
and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land..."
Douay

Amidst man's fallen garden; dark, dry and win-tery,
G-d's good promise is fulfilled; spring breaks in mys-tery.

Lo, yonder lovely hopeful bud hanging from dead tree.

G-d's germ of life; true hunger's meat.
Son's purest part of finest wheat.

Pray G-d, grant this humble verse to illume a right testimony-
unto the soul's dead spirit; "I am the resurrection" said He.

Whence eagles gather there I am found.
True bread from heaven coming on down.

To refresh weary souls, oh! -our food of renown!
sustains us in Him, the True Temple's sacred ground.

Adored Germ of Nominate Honor - Jesus Christ Our Daily Bread,
truly nourishes us to continue -on earth His life He leads.
