God breathes on us His Breath of Life;
This Force that guides us onward.
Savior Guide, and Lord of all;
Sin and Death He's conquered.
And we, the children of His work
know that He truly loves us,
by His great suffering, and His grace;
Almighty Hand above us.
"Who is this man," the unborn ask;
"That ye should bow and honor,
and pray with reverence, and grace,
and name: Almighty Father?"
"He was just a man, and poor; at that....
He had not diamonds nor fine gold.
He died a liar, and a thief....
Or so the story's told."
"My friend," I said; "Come walk with me,
and I can show you places
where He, the King of Life and Love
creates beauty in all faces."
No, He wears not diamonds, nor pure gold;
His riches can't be seen,
but you can feel His Presence,
and His Loving Grace, Serene.
You see, the riches of this world of ours
lie not in "palace-places;"
God's Golden Peace is everywhere--
Hearts fall to His Embraces.
